Populated circuit board assembly by ECI Vision
Electronics & PCB

Component Procurement & Assembly

Sourced, assembled, and tested, boards that arrive ready to run.

ECI Vision sources components and populates your boards in-house, manual and SMT assembly including fine-pitch and BGA, with mechanical assembly where the product needs it. One supplier from bare board to a tested, finished assembly.

The flow

Sourced, assembled, tested.

One supplier carries the board from a list of parts to a finished, working unit, with nothing handed off in between.

  1. 01

    Sourced

Components procured and the bill of materials managed, so the right parts are on hand when the line runs.

  2. 02

    Assembled

Boards populated with SMT and through-hole, including fine-pitch and BGA, plus mechanical assembly where the product needs it.

  3. 03

    Tested

Every assembly inspected and tested against spec before it leaves, with results fed back into the component library.

Overview

A bare board is only half the product. ECI Vision closes the gap with component procurement and assembly under the same roof as design and fabrication. We source components, manage the bill of materials, and populate boards with both manual and surface-mount assembly, including fine-pitch and BGA placement. Advanced mechanical assembly is available where the product calls for it. Because procurement and assembly sit alongside our design and manufacturing, we balance workloads internally and keep your project moving without the delays of juggling separate vendors.

Scope

What we put on the board.

  • 01

    Component sourcing

Procurement and BOM management so the right parts are on hand when the line runs.

  • 02

    SMT assembly

Surface-mount assembly including fine-pitch and BGA placement.

  • 03

    Through-hole & manual

Manual and through-hole assembly for mixed-technology boards.

  • 04

    Mechanical assembly

Advanced mechanical assembly where the finished product requires it.

  • 05

    Inspection & test

Assembled boards inspected and tested before they leave.

  • 06

    BOM feedback loop

Assembly and soldering results feed back into the component library for the next build.

The process

From BOM to finished unit.

  1. Step 1

    BOM & sourcing

We take the bill of materials, source components, and confirm availability and lead times.

  2. Step 2

    Assembly planning

We plan SMT, through-hole, and mechanical assembly for the board.

  3. Step 3

    Population

We populate the boards, including fine-pitch and BGA, manual and surface-mount.

  4. Step 4

    Inspection & test

Assembled boards are inspected and tested against spec.

  5. Step 5

    Delivery & feedback

We deliver finished assemblies and feed results back into the component library.
